The Center and Content of Visions — Jesus the Son of God (11-01-20)

Hymns

Open The Eyes of My Heart, Lord

by Michael W. Smith

1.
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord.
Open the eyes of my heart.
I want to see You.
I want to see You. (Repeat)

Chorus
To see You high and lifted up
Shining in the light of Your glory.
Pour out Your power and love
As we sing, “holy, holy, holy…”

Bridge
Holy, holy, holy,
Holy, holy, holy,
Holy, holy, holy,
I want to see You.

Heart Of Worship

by Matt Redman

1.
When the music fades
And all is stripped away
And I simply come;
Longing just to bring
Something that’s of worth,
That will bless Your heart.

Pre-chorus
I’ll bring You more than a song,
For a song in itself
Is not what You have required;
You search much deeper within,
Through the way things appear,
You’re looking into my heart.

Chorus
I’m coming back
To the heart of worship,
And it’s all about You,
It’s all about You, Jesus;
I’m sorry, Lord,
For the thing I’ve made it,
When it’s all about You,
It’s all about You, Jesus.

2.
King of highest worth,
No one could express
How much You deserve;
Though I’m weak and poor,
All I have is Yours,
Every single breath.

Matthew 1:18-21
18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. 19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not wanting to make her a public example, was minded to put her away secretly. 20 But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. 21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
