Exodus shows us the way out of Egypt, a picture of the world, for God’s people under Moses’ leadership. It shows God’s provision of manna, water, and protection. And it describes in detail the Law as a picture of the first marriage covenant God made with His people. It gives details of the tabernacle and all its furnishings, which provide a rich, symbolic picture of God interacting with His people through grace.
