Hymns

Your Name

By: Paul Baloche & Glenn Packiam

1.
As morning dawns and evening fades
You inspire songs of praise
That rise from earth to touch Your heart
And glorify Your Name.

Chorus
Your Name is a strong and mighty tower,
Your Name is a shelter like no other,
Your Name, let the nations sing it louder;
‘Cause nothing has the power to save
But Your Name.

2.
Jesus, in Your Name we pray,
Come and fill our hearts today,
Lord, give us strength to live for You
And glorify Your Name.

Glory To His Name!

Words: E. A. Hoffman
Music: John H. Stockton

1.
Down at the cross where my Savior died,
God’s righteous nature was satisfied;
There to my sin was the blood applied,
Glory to His name!

Chorus 1
Glory to His name!
Glory to His name!
There to my sin was the blood applied,
Glory to His name!

2.
I am so wondrously saved from sin,
Jesus so sweetly abides within;
There at the cross where He took me in;
Glory to His name!

Chorus 2
Glory to His name!
Glory to His name!
There at the cross where He took me in;
Glory to His name!

3.
O, precious fountain that saves from sin,
I am so glad I have entered in;
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His name!

Chorus 3
Glory to His name!
Glory to His name!
There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;
Glory to His name!

4.
Come to this fountain so rich and sweet;
Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;
Plunge in today and be made complete;
Glory to His name!

Chorus 4
Glory to His name!
Glory to His name!
Plunge in today and be made complete;
Glory to His name!

Jesus, I Take My Cross Today

By: Ian Konopinski

1.
Jesus, I take my cross today,
I’ll follow You and go Your way.
For Your sake, I will lose my life,
To know You more, O Jesus Christ.

Chorus 1
I’ll die to my own volition,
Die to all my desires,
Die to all my ambitions;
To find in You new life, new life.

2.
Today I choose Your will, not mine,
Not my own strength, but Your pow’r divine.

Chorus 2
I’ll let go of my resisting,
Let go of all my pride,
Let go of my insisting,
To lay hold of new life, new life.

Bridge
I will take my cross,
Today I’ll follow You, I’ll go Your way;
Jesus, You’re my Lord,
My life is Yours today, Lord, have Your way.

3.
Yours is the glory, pow’r, and praise,
Jesus, today, and always.

Unashamed Love

Jason Morant

1.
You’re calling me to lay aside
The worries of my day
To quiet down my busy mind
And find a hiding place;
Worthy, worthy…

2.
I open up my heart and let
My spirit worship Yours,
I open up my mouth and let
A song of praise come forth;
Worthy, You are worthy…

Chorus
Of a child-like faith,
And of my honest praise,
And of my unashamed love;
Of a holy life,
And of my sacrifice,
And of my unashamed love.

“The Meal Offering”

Message given by Rex Beck on June 26, 2022

Philippians 2:17–18
17Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. 18Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.

The Meal Offering

Leviticus 2:1-13

“When anyone brings a grain offering as an offering to the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour. He shall pour oil on it and put frankincense on it and bring it to Aaron’s sons the priests. And he shall take from it a handful of the fine flour and oil, with all of its frankincense, and the priest shall burn this as its memorial portion on the altar, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to theLord. But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the Lord’s food offerings.

Prepared in Different Ways

“When you bring a grain offering baked in the oven as an offering, it shall be unleavened loaves of fine flour mixed with oil or unleavened wafers smeared with oil. And if your offering is a grain offering baked on a griddle, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mixed with oil. You shall break it in pieces and pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. And if your offering is a grain offering cooked in a pan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil. And you shall bring the grain offering that is made of these things to the Lord, and when it is presented to the priest, he shall bring it to the altar. And the priest shall take from the grain offering its memorial portion and burn this on the altar, a food offering with a pleasing aroma to the Lord. 10 But the rest of the grain offering shall be for Aaron and his sons; it is a most holy part of the Lord’s food offerings.

With No Leaven or Honey

11 “No grain offering that you bring to the Lord shall be made with leaven, for you shall burn no leaven nor any honey as a food offering to the Lord. 12 As an offering of firstfruits you may bring them to the Lord, but they shall not be offered on the altar for a pleasing aroma.

With Salt

13 You shall season all your grain offerings with salt. You shall not let the salt of the covenant with your God be missing from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt.

Christ is Our Passover, with Unleavened Bread

1 Corinthians 5:7–8
7Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed. 8Therefore let us celebrate the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

The Meal Offering Experience of Christ’s Humanity

2 Corinthians 2:10
10But one whom you forgive anything, I forgive also; for indeed what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ…
