Hymns

Drinking at the Fountain

Words and Music: Haldor Lillenas

1.
Many weary years I vainly sought a spring,
One that never would run dry;
Unavailing all the earth to me could bring,
Nothing seemed to satisfy.

Chorus
Drinking at the Fountain that never runs dry,
Drinking at the Fountain of life am I;
Finding joy and pleasure
In abounding measure,
I am drinking at the Fountain of life.

2. Through the desert land of sin I roam no more,
For I find a living Spring,
And my cup of gladness now is running o’er,
Jesus is my Lord and King.

3.
Here is sweet contentment as the days go by,
Here is holy peace and rest;
Here is consolation as themoments fly,
Here my heart is always blest.

4.
Here I find a never ending, sure supply,
While the endless ages roll;
To this healing Fountain I would ever fly,
There to bathe my weary soul.

“Deep and Wide”
Deep and wide, deep and wide,
There’s a Fountain flowing deep and wide;
Deep and wide, deep and wide,
There’s a Fountain flowing deep and wide.

Alabaster

Words and Music: Rend Collective

1.
I lie broken at Your feet
Like an alabaster jar,
Every piece of who I am,
Laid before Your majesty.

Chorus
I will bow my life
At Your feet, at Your feet;
My lips, so lost for words,
Will kiss Your feet, kiss Your feet.

2.
The debt of sin I could not pay,
Your precious blood has washed away;
With tears of love and gratitude
I give my heart and life to You.

3.
Though all may wonder, “why this waste?”
It’s my first Love that has first place;
In love, I pour out all my life
To satisfy You, Jesus Christ.

Alternate Chorus
Oh, I love You, Lord,
I love You, Lord, I love You, Lord;
All my life poured out
All on You, all for You.

Message

“Choosing the Better Part”

Message given by Rex Beck on August 2, 2020. Excerpt below:

Luke 10:38-42

38 Now as they went on their way, Jesus entered a village. And a woman named Martha welcomed him into her house. 39 And she had a sister called Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet and listened to his teaching. 40 But Martha was distracted with much serving. And she went up to him and said, “Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her then to help me.” 41 But the Lord answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things, 42 but one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, which will not be taken away from her.”
