Dessert & Appetizer Competition Dec. 7 at 5:30pm

We are so excited to again host this special night for our friends and neighbors. December 7 at 5:30 pm we will host our dessert and appetizer competition, invite children of prisoners from our area, give them gifts, and present the story of Jesus’ birth.

The gifts are part of Project Angel Tree. To learn more giving, contact us.

The story of Jesus’ birth is not just beautiful and seasonally appropriate. It marks the point in history where our Hope was first revealed.

For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.

Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory.

— 1 Peter 1:18-21 NLT

The Dessert & Appetizer Competition is all in good fun. Bring your best dessert, or at least your discerning palate, and help us choose this year’s winners.
