Shine Jesus Shine

By Graham Kendrick

Lord, the light of Your love is shining,
In the midst of the darkness shining;
Jesus, Light of the world, shine upon us,
Set us free by the truth You now bring us;
Shine on me, shine on me!

Shine, Jesus, shine!
Fill this land with the Father’s glory;
Blaze, Spirit, blaze;
Set our hearts on fire;
Flow, river, flow,
Flood the nations with grace and mercy;
Send forth Your word,
Lord, and let there be light!

Lord, I come to
Your awesome presence,
From the shadows
Into Your radiance;
By the blood I may
Enter Your brightness,
Search me, try me,
Consume all my darkness;
Shine on me, shine on me!

As we gaze on Your kingly brightness,
So our faces display Your likeness,
Ever changing from glory to glory,
Mirrored here may our lives tell Your story;
Shine on me, shine on me!

Build My Life

By Pat Barrett

Worthy of every song we could ever sing,
Worthy of all the praise we could ever bring,
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe;
We live for You, oh, we live for You.

Jesus, the name above every other name,
Jesus, the only One who could ever save,
Worthy of every breath we could ever breathe;
We live for You, oh we live for You.

Holy, there is no one like You,
There is none beside You
Open up my eyes in wonder
And show me who You are
And fill me with Your heart
And lead me in Your love to those around me.

I will build my life upon Your love,
It is a firm foundation;
And I will put my trust in You alone
And I will not be shaken.

Galatians 3:1-5, 13-14
You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? 2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? 5 So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by works of the Law, or by hearing with faith?

13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”— 14 in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we would receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
